Stand Down is a special event dedicated to honoring and supporting Houston’s veterans. This annual day of service connects veterans with food, clothing, health services, housing support, and other vital resources. All veterans are welcome—especially those at risk of homelessness.
Each year, Houston Stand Down gathers local groups, helpers, and volunteers to show care and support for the veterans in our community.
This meaningful day is all about helping veterans in the ways they need most—offering essentials, important services, and a fresh sense of hope.

My name is Reyna, and being a part of the KSBJ Morning Show is a God-given dream come true! I found KSBJ while in the backseat of my children's church pastor's car. Being plugged in to hope was a game changer and my lifeline. I'm a first-generation college graduate, a proud mom of two daughters, and a dog lover. I’m passionate about hearing your stories and seeing how God transforms lives. If you have a story to share you can email me at rreyna@ksbj.org.
