Roger Wernette

Born in Tyler, Roger went to school at Stephen F. Austin University where he earned an undergraduate  degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in business. He earned an MA in Theological Studies from Covenant Seminary in 2004. Roger has lived in Houston since 1976, working in the treasury and investment fields. Roger volunteered and worked for Young Life for 13 years.  In 1999, Roger restarted the Gathering of Men in Houston. The Gathering shares the Gospels and disciples men in Houston through large events, small groups, and ministry participation. Roger has written two books, Wholehearted and Invited. He has been married to Suzie for 32 years and has two boys Ryan (30) and Chris (27). His hobby is golf.
